Craig Napoliello

A New York based scenic designer with over fifty designs to his credit.  Craig's designs have been seen both Off-Broadway and regionally as well as interior designs. 

For Craig, the most important element of the design / creative process is being true to the story that is being told.  As such, his work focuses on the exploration of how to visually represent that story in ways that elicit the desired impact on the audience as they experience the show.  He does this in part through the choices of materials and textures he uses on stage and how they are seen. while working to ensure the show flows as intended and closely working with design team.

Both new work and established work excites him as it comes down to story telling and what that story is.  He is equally comfortable designing a fully flushed out interior to a single strong statement on stage.  He received his MFA from the University of Iowa.
